Day 171

One of my daughters polished my fingernails this weekend. I used to wear a lot of dark reds and pinks, but now I just wear very light colors, if I ever do my nails. Chalk it up to getting older, with too much to do in too little time; pale colors don't show the chips!

Day 158

More trees growing through rocks. I loved the sky that day.

Day 157

The tenacity of life: A tree growing out of the rock at Vedauwoo.

Yes, that's snow on the ground. The yellow on the rocks is fungus.

Day 154

Sagebrush, which dries up to become tumbleweeds. This is as green as it gets, hence the color "sage green" is often mistaken for grey.
